“Each painting is a search for 'what art is' and what it can awaken.”
Artist Statement
I paint from a place of sensitivity, wonder, and deep feeling. What began as learning to see has become a quiet practice of trusting what I feel. Guided by rhythm and reflection, my work reaches for innocence and connection, often drawing from nature, memory, and the inner emotional world. I’m interested in what lives beneath the surface of things; the subtle exchanges between beings, the softness inside strength, the presence that exists without words.
My process is intuitive and layered, allowing chance and discovery to play alongside intention, before each painting is brought to completion in oil. By embracing my own sensitivity, I hope to offer others a way back to theirs. Each painting is a small, sincere search for what art is and what it can awaken.
At its core, I hope my work invites empathy for all living beings and a deeper awareness of the emotional truths we often ignore within ourselves. In a world shaped by noise, expectation, and collective narratives, I want my paintings to create space for stillness, honesty, and remembering what we deeply know but often forget.
